There are thousands of Wordpress Plugins out there and here is a list of my favourites, hopefully they could be useful to others too; they aren't in any order of preference just alphabetical. If you have any additional plugins you really like and think I have missed, it would be great to receive your comments.
- AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Button

- Advanced Adsense
A simple plugin to help make your Google AdSense Ads display better, more relevant ads.
- Akismet
Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under "Comments."
- All in One SEO Pack

- Comment Notifier

- Easy Privacy Policy

- Google Analyticator
Adds the necessary JavaScript code to enable Google's Analytics
- Google Analytics Dashboard

- Google XML Sitemaps
This plugin will generate a special XML sitemap which will help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com to better index your blog.
- TweetPost
Integrates your wordpress blog with your twitter account, automatically posting to twitter when a new post is made on your blog
- Widget Context
Display different widgets on different pages. If you have a very short page you may not want 20 widgets down your right hand bar, this widget means you can choose just to show one on this page only.
- WP Minify
This plugin uses the Minify engine to combine and compress JS and CSS files to improve page load time.
