Penny – I know you've attempted to help me with this issue and gave me an idea of using the parent function (not what I really want ) but maybe there is someone else out there who has stumbled on to the answer.

I want to have a menu bar item show on only certain pages. In other words, if I have "Check Out" on the menu bar as a choice for people to click on when they are shopping and they click on say,"News" I don't want the "Check Out" option to show on the menu bar on that "News" page.

As intricate as WP is, I would think this should be an easy option. But I guess not. Anyone out there have any ideas?
