I was just informed that my Google Adsense has been disabled for , apparently, clicking on an ad. I have appealed, but now my sites have the blank spaces. I don't understand the action because I have never intentionally clicked on any ad. Anyway, is there another ad group that can be out on my sites? Has this happened to anyone else here?

Hi Mike, that's bad news but not the end of the World as there are other alternatives some people choose to use anyway, even if they haven't been banned. Google are really, really strict on any potential click fraud, so anybody in your house who used your computer and clicked on an ad could lose your account for you, I have heard of a lot of people it has happened to.
So, the top 3 alternatives I would suggest are:

http://www.adbrite.com
http://www.clicksor.com
http://www.bidvertiser.com

Hope that helps, once signed up and you have generated the code needed, you will just need to replace the Google code in Widgets > left or right column.

Mike, Same happened to me this past Sunday. I also appealed telling them I've only made $10.00 (they haven't even paid yetConfused)in the last 2 months so how can I be accused of loading the boat – of course I put it a lot more diplomatically. My site have always been family friendly and have limited the number of Google adsense to their prescibred rules. The one adult site I have – I removed all traces of Google so that I wouln't be in violation. I was totally amazed and in shock that they could or would do this. Anyway, seems no matter how hard you try webmasters are at their mercy. Good luck and let us know how you faired on your appeal. Penny, thanks for the alternative sites that you included above. I will look into them if I don't hear back from Google soon. Larry

Hi Penny and Larry,
Thank you so much for the replies. I appreciate the alternatives and will try switching the code to another ad outfit. I have never tried it before, but I shall get with it.
Larry, I have read of so very many folks who have had this happen. I have not gotten a reply yet, but from what I read it will be negative. I'll keep you all informed.
Love this forum.
Thanks,
MikeLaugh

Hi Mike
The best option for you as an alternative is probably Bidvertiser as it is most similar. If you get stuck just let me know and I will help.

Yes Mike,

I agree with Penny. I looked at all three sites and joined Bidvertiser —– seemed to be the best. Easy to join and easy to use. And as Penny said – it's almost a copycat of the "other company"Confused

Good luck –Larry
