Hi,

Penny, I am interested in converting my site to WP as you have mentioned before. I do have a couple of questions though. I think that I read that it takes 2 days for the process – how long will my site be down? Also, my site currently has a blog with a dark theme. I want to keep that theme for my blog, but don't want it in the rest of my site; I would like to keep all the colors as is – is that possible? Lastly, would conversion to WP change any of the URL's associated with my site? Would incoming links remain? Thanks

Hello
We could make sure that your site was down for only an hour or so. We can leave your blog as it is if you would like, so just the main site will change over to Wordpress (you will in effect have 2 lots of Wordpress running, but no one will realise this – it does mean you will have 2 admin panels also as you do now).
The home page external links you have won't change, all will still go to main url, but any internal pages, for example http://findebookreaders.com/pa……php?id=18 which you have now would be renamed to something like http://findebookreaders.com/er…..derreviews so if you have a lot of links currently pointing at these internal pages you will lose them.
